Ms. Courtney has been an educator for 25 years. She has Bachelor’s and Master's Degrees in Curriculum and Instruction. Additionally, she is a Nationally Board Certified Teacher in Early Childhood. Courtney has taught the Science of Reading strategies in kindergarten, first, second, third and fourth grades. Also, she taught Early Childhood Education at the college level for 5 years at Mississippi State University. Her favorite thing to teach is reading and language. She loves seeing the pride a student has once they master a new skill in reading!
